The account I'm using to download this on is being shared to me by a friend, so I also don't really want to go contact EA Support to change the game version, when it isn't really mine to change. At this point I'm at a loss for what to do, and I've tried everything short of a full reinstallation, which I don't particularly want to do. Notably, when I change the locale to pl_PL, the game launches perfectly fine and runs without any issues, except for the whole language thing being not what I want. No matter what I do, I can't get past this point in the launch. Any time I launch the game with the regedit changed to en_US, it gets a solid 3 frames into the intro sequence with the plumbob flying, and then freezes, crashing 20 seconds later. However, this universe is cruel and cold and violently determined to make me play in Polish. Tried launching just about every way possible, including running as administrator with the exe itself Placed said files in their proper foldersĭone the whole regedit thing to change locale, and used the language-changer.exe thing for good measure to double check. I have a version of Sims 4 that only lets me install it in Polish, Czech, and Russian, but I would really like it to be English. Sorry if this is the wrong spot to make this thread, but I'm honestly just stumped right now.
